Whew, is it hot out there or what? With summer on our doorstep, and those bikinis hanging in the closet, I know we are all excited to be huffing and puffing at StrollerFit these days, but here is a word of caution.
Make sure you are getting well hydrated before, during and after class.
We are only there to remind you to drink your water during class, but coming to class already hydrated is equally important.
The best advice is to have some Gatorade or Powerade available at home - Powerade even has a new calorie-free drink that is delish! Drink some before you come to class with breakfast, but not so much that you can feel it sloshing around in your tummy. If you feel sloshing, you've gone too far:)!
Bring water to class to sip on during the workout, and then drink a little more Gatorade or Powerade with lunch. Water is best during workouts, but you need the electrolytes from the sports drinks to build you up before, and to help your body recover faster afterwards.
The better hydrated you are, the easier the workouts will be!
And don't forget about the little ones. For the summer months bring an extra cup of watered down juice with you to keep them safe too!
See you tomorrow morning at Bailey Road Park.

Bikini Challenge
Okay mommies - are you up for a challenge? If you are even questioning it, just think about how awesome your POST BABY body could look in a bikini, yes, I said it BIKINI!
Come on girls, dream big, and let's get our bodies in tip-top shape for bikini season. If this warm weather hasn't gotten you in the mood, just think of that upcoming beach trip, lake visit or day at the pool.
Here is how the challenge works:
For every class you attend over the course of the next 6 weeks, you get 2 points.
Come to class and set goals with us. For every goal you reach you get 4 points.
Attend a StrollerFriends Meetup and receive 6 points.
Bring a friend to class and you get a whopping 10 points.
The mommy at the end who has the most points will receive a $50 gift card to purchase the bikini of her choice. And trust us, after the next 6 weeks you will most definitely be bikini ready!
May the best mommy win!
